RULES APPLICABLE TO SHEEP SECTION ONLY

1. Please state on entry form if your sheep are MV accredited AND submit a copy of the Health Status Report with your Entry Form. A SRUC Health Status Report must still be presented on the day of the Show, completed in full.
2. Strictly NO unloading until movement licences and MV Licences have been checked and collected
3. Separate pens will be available for MV accredited sheep
4. All exhibitors must have Public Liability Insurance
5. Movement restrictions in place on the 5th September must be adhered to by all exhibitors.
6. All livestock trailers and vehicles must be clean and remain within the livestock section until they return home.
7. All exhibitors and handlers must ensure their clothing and footwear is clean before they leave the livestock area. Disinfectant will be provided in appropriate areas.
8. All exhibitors are responsible for the safety of their animals which must remain in their allotted areas at all times.
9. All sheep must be registered with the Livestock Secretary before the start of the Show.
10. All butchers lambs must be bred by the exhibitor
11. All sheep and lambs must have been owned by the exhibitor for at least 60 days in advance of the Show
12. All sheep must be in their area by 10.00 am. Judging starts at 10.15 am.
13. No animal to wear prize cards or rosettes during judging.
14. All livestock must remain on the field until 4.30 pm.
15. Prize Winners will be expected to parade.
16. In any class with 8 or more entries, a 4th Prize will be paid.
17. Trophies to be held for one year and returned in advance of the following year’s Show.
