Please note that the only vehicular or pedestrian access to the showground is from the Aireworth Road roundabout on the A650.  It has come to our notice that there may be some confusion caused by the map printed in the colour brochure produced by the "Keighley News" which appears to show access from the Crossflatts end of the showground.  This entrance is only for those visitors who will have gained entrance by the Aireworth Road roundabout and parked their cars at the Crossflatts end of the showground.

FREE car parking is available near the Showground, but you might also consider using public transport – Keighley is well served by regular bus and train services and a special FREE Show Day Bus Service, provided by the Keighley Bus Museum Trust, runs regularly to and from Hanover Street in the town centre, via the railway station and Parson Street.

Please download the information below for full details of times and routes of the free buses.

Bus route and timetable (54kb)

Our main sponsors, Leeds City College (Keighley Campus), are providing  free Minibus transport to take people from the bus drop-off point at the main entrance to the show area on the upper level.

ADMISSION PRICES AT THE GATE:

Adults:  £6    60 years & over:  £4
Children:  5 - 15 years:  £4     Under 5s:  Free

However, you
can save money by purchasing admission tickets in advance.
These are now on sale at Keighey Town Hall (Payments Office)
and you will save £1 on every ticket you purchase.

Alternatively, you might wish to consider an annual subscription to the Society which includes entry to the Show, parking on the upper level (subject to availability) and admittance to the private Members’ Bar, with seating adjacent to the Main Ring.  Members can also attend the President’s Official Luncheon (at extra cost).

This year, the bar facilities are being run by SUE RYDER CARE - MANORLANDS HOSPICE who will receive proceeds from money raised.

It costs £2.2 million to run all the hospice’s services each year and they only receive funding for half of these costs. There is, therefore, a heavy reliance on voluntary contributions and support.

The hospice in Oxenhope provides specialist palliative care to people living in Airedale, Craven, Northern and Western areas of Bradford. This is the type of care given to people with life threatening illnesses such as Cancer, Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Motor Neurone Disease. Treatment is provided either at home or in the Hospice and is provided is free of charge.

These conditions usually involve complex physical or psychological problems which cannot be managed by the general medical and nursing services. Specialist palliative care focuses on helping to resolve these problems while supporting family, carers and close friends.

Keighley Show is pleased to be able to help the hospice raise additional funds for their valuable work.
